5’7″ Self-Made Dunker · The Dunk Camp 2026
A 5-foot-7 dunker proving that hops aren’t given — they’re built. I’m documenting the climb from my first rim to a 50-inch vertical, one rep at a time, and bringing the whole dunk community with me.

My Story
I’m Juan Pescador — most people know me as Air Juan. Growing up I was the small, shy kid who was scared to even try sports. Then I saw what was possible above the rim, and something clicked: if I couldn’t be the tallest, I’d out-work everyone on the way up.
I taught myself to dunk by studying the best, training the way pros like Isaiah Rivera train, and refusing to quit. My first dunk came on a 9’10” rim. Since then it’s been a relentless climb — three inches of vertical in my first few months, a 245-pound power clean, and 200-plus videos documenting every win, plateau, and comeback from injury along the way.
That line is the whole reason I started my podcast, Beyond Bounce. Dunking is the vehicle. The real story is what it takes to build yourself from the ground up — and how that lesson travels far beyond a basketball court.
What I Do
I’m not just chasing hops. I’m building a platform around the climb — and using it to push other people up with me.
Training daily for jump-specific power with THP Strength. Every session is filmed, measured, and shared — no shortcuts, no fake numbers, just the real road from 38 inches to 50.
See the training →I host Beyond Bounce, where dunkers go past the highlights into the mindset, the grind, and the lessons underneath. Because being athletic is only the surface.
